  • At MasterFix, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality work efficiently. To ensure smooth operations and transparency, please review our payment processing terms:

1. Payment Methods

  • We accept payments through bank deposit or credit card, if via credit card then any processing fees are added to the amount payable. All payments must be made in AUD.

2. Third-Party Processors

  • We use third-party payment processors to handle your credit card transactions securely. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers. Your payment information is encrypted and handled directly by Stripe.

3. Billing Accuracy

  • You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers/expiration dates.

4. Deposit and Stage Payments

  • Deposit: A deposit is required before starting your project, as outlined in your quote or agreement.
  • Stage/Progress Payments: Where stage payments apply these payments will be structured into stages aligned with key project milestones and deadlines.

5. Prompt Payment Policy

  • Timely Payment: All stage/progress payments are due on or before the agreed dates.
  • Non-Payment Consequences:
    • MasterFix reserves the right to adjust stage/progress payments to ensure ongoing costs are covered if payments are delayed.
    • Additional or new stage/progress payments may be introduced if delays persist, this includes jobs where originally there were no stage/progress payments.

6. Wasted Time Fees

  • We strive to maintain project timelines, but disruptions caused by factors beyond our control may impact progress.
    • Charges apply if the client-supplied items are:
      • Unavailable;
      • Different from the agreed specifications; or
      • Faulty.
    • Charges apply if the job site is not ready or otherwise disrupts our scheduled work. Examples of this, where rooms need to be emptied by the client prior to works and they have not done so.
  • Wasted time fees cover wasted time and associated costs.
    • These fees include, but at not limited too:
      • Any equipment hire fees;
      • Labour rate at $85 per hour + GST per individual;
      • Materials that expire as a result of the wasted time;
      • Costs associated with MasterFix helping to rectify the reason for the wasted time.

7. Invoicing for Partially Completed Jobs

  • While every effort is made to complete projects in full, circumstances outside of our control may prevent us from finishing some tasks. In such cases:
    • MasterFix reserves the right to invoice for up to 95% of the total project cost for all work completed to date, or if the unfinished item is listed and priced separately in the quote, then MasterFix reserves the right to invoice the full amount less the amount listed in the quote for said item.
    • The remaining balance will be invoiced once we can return to complete any outstanding tasks.
  • Examples of this:
    • Where the client is not ready for us to complete part of the work, for instance they have not booked another contractor to complete works that need to be completed and therefore causing delays to MasterFix being able to complete its works.
    • Where unforeseen circumstances have arisen which has not been previously recorded as part of the job, and as such as prevented the completion of the job.
    • Unforeseen delays outside of MasterFix’s control.
  • MasterFix will endeavour to always complete as much of the work possible.

8. Ensuring Smooth Project Delivery

  • To avoid disruptions or delays, we ask clients to:
    • Ensure that all materials or items they are providing are available, correct, and functional at the time of starting the job.
    • Confirm that the job site is ready for work as scheduled.
    • Communicate promptly regarding any changes or potential issues.

6. Why These Policies Matter

  • Our policies are designed to ensure fairness and efficiency for all parties involved. They enable us to manage resources effectively while delivering the best possible results for your project.
